Hey there, new recruit! I don’t think we’ve met before. My name’s Kwan, and I’m in charge of training new Lightgliders. Welcome to Lightglider Academy!
To enter Lightglider Academy, you need to be on a computer, not a mobile device. Once you are on a computer and signed into Lightgliders, click “Enter Lightglider Academy” on the main page.
Once you do, you’ll be transported to the Academy courtyard. There’s lots to do around here. Right now, you’re in a safe place to train, make friends, and learn the Lightglider values. Take a look at your map to learn more about the buildings here. Outside of the Academy is the Yonders, a large area of beautiful wilderness filled with lakes, rivers, mountains, plains, swamps, and more! Lovable creatures called the Gliddles live in the Yonders, spreading joy and beauty all around.
There’s just one problem--the Yonders is being attacked! A sticky, gooey substance called blight is spreading all over the land, covering its beauty with some kind of gross tar. To make matters worse, unknown Machines are invading, kidnapping the Gliddles and destroying the natural balance!
This is where we come in. As Lightgliders, we are charged with clearing the blight and rescuing the Gliddles. Don’t worry about the specifics--your armor is equipped with all sorts of high-tech gear. Light will shine forth through you to break up the blight covering the Yonders and will even battle against the attacking Machines. The Gliddles you rescue can help you battle the Machines, too! When you rescue Gliddles, you can bring them with you or send them back here to the Academy, where they can rest and recover in a safe place -- the Treehouses. Feel free to decorate your Treehouse how you like with all kinds of furniture and themes. As you rescue more Gliddles, you will be able to unlock more decks on your Treehouse.
As you become a stronger Lightglider, I hope you’ll learn what it really means to shine. You were created for a purpose! Part of that purpose right now is to help out those in need and spread light across a land invaded by darkness. When we use our unique gifts for good, we are shining. We hope you shine every day.
